The Amazing Spider Man...

This kid is such a monkey. Gymnastics might be in his future-or maybe we will train him to be someones stunt double :)

26

This has just not been my year for holidays :) Christmas Hyrum was sick, Saturday was my big date for my B-day and Hyrum started throwing up AGAIN, and Wednesday my official birthday Seth caught the flu.
However even with all this sickness floating around my birthday was lovely. Michael treats me like my birthday is every day of the year so honestly my day wasn't that different than normal-Michael had work and school so I still had my wonderful mother duties to attend too (Especially with Seth deciding to get sick.) But Michael picked me up some yummy dinner, I received some wonderful gifts and Michael has promised me the weekend to get some spoiling time :) It's been a wonderful 26 years, the last 5 1/2 being especially fantastic.
Michael only found 6 candles :) the boys were so excited that they crowded me out of my own Birthday cake. They even blew out most of my candles but I did get one :)

My Brother-in-law sent me my own plumbing magazine :) I knew my magazine collection was missing something.
 Ha ha-I love this picture

Right before Michael and I left for my date.  26 is going to be fun

Feeding the starving ducks!

They rushed us the moment we stepped out of our van! Hyrum, who had been excitedly discussing us going all morning,  ended up turning tail and screaming back to our van. Michael literally had to push some away. Finally when they were all back in the water we started throwing our 2 loafs of bread at them. It didn't last as long as I hoped because both boys were throwing in whole slices of bread, instead of tearing them into pieces.

Afterwards we went and ate ice cream.
It was a fun date Hyrum-Thanks for asking us!

Movin On

To Christmas!I think I can guarantee that our Christmas morning started off with a little more excitement than everyone else's. I awoke at 5:30 in the morning to Hyrum crying over my face and Michael yelling "He's going to vomit!" Luckily I dodged that bullet just in time to avoid it all over my face. Needless to say, my big fun filled Christmas was replaced with a (Still fun!) slow, sleep filled Christmas where we mostly mosied around, slowly opening presents and cuddled watching Kung fu Panda 2 (Hilarious and emotional all at the same time-I loved it!) Ok I was the only one crying, Michael would look over at me and laugh..and laugh, and then laugh some more. Not ashamed at all, though in all honesty some of those tears were probably due to my exhaustion :) To end on a lovely note, Hyrum ate so many peanuts that he got constipated, or in his words:
"I got the bad poop! I want my good poop to come back!" after he sat and cried on the toilet for awhile we ended up having to give him a suppository.  It was a lovely Holiday :)
Enjoying their stockings bright and early
Seth finding a stray bag and claiming it as his own

Michael got some new pants, and apparently so did MD :)

I know- we all look awesome.

Elder Ross is HOME

Since Ammon was staying in Utah for School we decided to throw him an impromtu welcome home party. We let the nephews go to town on the sign (They went a little crazy :) and we had a wonderful visit with this amazing returned missionary! Welcome home Ammon!
 Please admire the lovely artistry
 Beautiful Mom and handsome Ammon

One of my favorite moments of the night.
Ammon inspiring another stripling warrior to go out and serve. Mr Samuel has recently put his papers in.

The Decorating of the tree

This was an activity that the boys took seriously. Hence the serious title. We set my dad up as the main decorator, and my boys swarmed around him like a pair of ants on honey. They decorated the bottom of the tree so nicely that I was a little sad that about 5 minutes after they finished Seth came and started yanking all their decorations off, so I had to migrate all the ornaments northward. Everyone but Seth was pleased with the finished masterpiece. What can I say? My dad is an Artist.
You might notice my important role. I sat and watched. Occasionally I pulled out an ornament.
Yes this is the same picture that's in the previous post. But it looks so good I had to post it twice.
For some reason our house doesn't feel like Christmas until that tree is up, so luckily around the 23rd we all got to start feeling festive. I of course rebelled and had been listening to Christmas music WEEKS before it went up. I felt jolly

A little sneek peek of things to come

We had an Amazing Christmas Season-More to come when I find a chance to sit down for longer then 5 minutes :)
