When we moved here last year, we had amazing neighbors who immediately befriended us and included our family in all the fun things they did on a regular basis. One of those things was going up in the mountains and making campfire dinners while the kids played. One of our neighbors has since moved, but we still have them come with us when we do those dinners. Unfortunately this time it started raining half-way through so we had to continue the dinner at our neighbors house. Still it was so fun to sit and visit with the adults and watch the children run around high on marshmallows!
I only snapped a couple of pictures due to the rain.
The lucky boys filled up on watermelon, hot dogs, marshmallows and ended the night with some smores.
The boys spent most of the evening climbing up this side of the mountain
Oh, and having Sam with us for all of these activities has just made it so much more fun! We are really going to miss him when he leaves next week.
