Making our way back to Utah

The boys once again did SO well on the trip from Oregon to Utah- I think Our stopping every couple of hours for bathroom breaks and to stretch out legs helped fight MD's frustration. Special Thanks go out to Andrew who took MD and let him play with old medal things in Parking lots as a distraction :)
MD would combat the boredom by taking his shoes offentertaining Hyrum....
Giving Hyrum his bottle....
And flirting with the camera :)

When we got back to utah we settled into a Fun routine- In the mornings MD would wake up and have breakfast with me, and then have Second Breakfast with His Grandma Huish ( Lets just imagine an 18 month old scarfing down bananas, eggs, cerial, bread, and then more cerial with Grandma-pretty picture isnt it? Thereis a reason MD is as big as he is :) Then he would play outside with Grandma or Grandpa (Or with his cousins when they showed up)He was in bed by 10 for his first nap,and then wake up ready for lunch! (Which he never seemed to excited for- sometimes i think he is like a camel who drinks, or in MD's case eats, a ton and then lives off it for awhile) and then back outside-or when Grandma was feeling tired of the outside he would go play with dishes in the kitchen sink! The he would wander around begging for awhile to go play outside again and then by 4 he was down for his second nap. Then dinner

more fun and games (and i guess snacks that he pulled out of my diaper bag-just help yourself Michael! :) and then bed!
This is me enjoying my vacation in Utah :) It was a magical time for MD at Grandma and Grandpa Huish's house- So magical that he is still angry at me for bringing him back to Texas (there is alot of hitting, scratching and screaming involved) Just wait until Grandpa plays with you in his garden Michael! then you will be in heaven....
Hyrum really enjoyed the time in Utah too :)

Cute post Laurie! Your boys are so handsome! By the way, i am so jealous that MD still has 2 naps a day.. Ethan's second nap was gone a while ago. Hold on to that 2nd nap for dear life!

I'm GLAD you liked the pumpkin idea. It's so easy and cute I just had to share it!! Thanks for letting me know you liked it. That makes me happy! :)
